My friend Stephanie is an inspiration to me.
Exactly one year ago as she was due to deliver twins, and her kitchen was completely torn up (like mine!), being remodeled.
During our recent trip to visit their family, I was able to see the finished product and get some sweet ideas, and of course to love on the babies and 3-year old Andie.
Awesome ideas, like floating shelves.
A cool drawer like this.
Extra shelves like these.
And the thing I loved the most was her recycling drawer - with 4 dividers! Brilliant!
I love getting kitchen ideas from friends. I love it when they do the footwork for me.
How do you get your new ideas - from friends, magazines, or do you love to browse the stores?

I love the recycling drawers!! (and your whole site!) :o)
It's fun to get new ideas from friends, isn't it? I love the recycling drawer too!
I love to peek through friend's homes for inspiration and ideas, of course magazines work too-but it seems like friends have more do-able ideas, more real world kind of stuff!
When we built our house I was determined to have the recycle pull out even if I had to give something else up to get it. I absolutely love having it!
All of the above. But I guess mostly from my bloggie friends!
Great ideas!
My husband built me big pull out bins in our kitchen storage closet.
I love having it all tucked away out of view.
I am always on the lookout for ideas, at friends' homes, in stores, and on blogs and magazines.......thanks for sharing Steph's ideas.

I like to get ideas from my friends and searching through magazines. I'm not good with coming up with ideas of my own, but I know what I like when I see it!
I have one recycling drawer and just love it!
I get ideas from everywhere. Books, magazines, friends, blogs, stores, etc. So many great ideas that really deserve repeating.
LOVE that kitchen! Love it, love it, love it!
Agreem the recycling draweres are great but, wait, would I ever be done emptying the trash?
I am always on the lookout for good ideas. I find them on blogs, in magazines, on the side of the road. I'll make a note about them or take a photo and put them into my "book of ideas."
I love thumbing through the book and letting other folks see. It's great for creativity!
Oh those tiered drawers make me swoon. My sister in law has them and I want some so badly. Sadly, our landlord won't allow ANY changes. But they are indeed wonderful.
