Easter Comes Alive through Easter Story Cookies!

Any kind of lesson that makes the Easter story come ALIVE is worth taking the time for with kids.

And I love it when we can use FOOD to help make a story real!

If you are wanting an impacting lesson to share with your kids, grandkids, or even your neighbor kids - check out my post from last year,
Balcony Girls See Easter Come to Life!

The empty tomb is what MAKES EASTER REAL!  The results of not only the story, but also these tasty, meringue beauties - I think you might find fascinating.

For best results, leave the cookies overnight in your oven on Saturday night!  Get the recipe, here!

ENJOY and Happy Easter planning!

Never heard of Easter Story cookies...my kids did the plastic egg story with all the items in the eggs representing parts of the Easter Story.

The girls are so cute!

This is a tradition we do in my house. We all love year after year. I've already posted about it. It's awesome way to show the TRUE meaning of Easter!

I love the cookie idea-we just walked through the plastic egg thing (we even made our own!) but I love that visual that the cookies provide for an empty tomb. Thanks for sharing this, I just might have to try this with my kids.

I just loooove this idea!!!! I am always looking to incorporate new and meaningful family traditions that reaffirm our values and are just plain family fun. My husband and I were just talking about ways to make Easter special for kids that are in keeping with the true meaning of the season. Thank you for your wonderful blog. I really enjoy it.

I've tried these a couple years, and mine never come out. I just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Is there a special trick that isn't in the recipe?
