Happy Coughlin Box!

It was a beautiful day in the Rogue Valley, as you can see from the pictures. What started off as good ol’ fun led to craziness with the sprinklers, which led to jumping into the pool (brrr), and then into the hot tub (ahhh), all with clothes on! My kids and their friends had a blast.

Okay, it’s time to COMMENT and WIN! I promised a while back, that I would be giving away a “Happy Coughlin Box” (otherwise known as a fun care-package), to the lucky winner whose name is drawn from commenting on my blog!

Just pop in and say hello, even if you live in my home town! At the bottom of this post you can click on “comments” and then follow directions on how to post a comment (for those of you who have never done it). Make sure I have an email address to contact the winner!

This “box” idea started earlier this month when I won a package from Montana. You can read about it here. I promised to follow suit.

My mind is racing now, on how fun I can make this package, which will be delivered to your front door mid April.

I decided to give a tiny secret away. But don't tell anyone! Sshhh! One of the items in the "box" will be my home-made pear bread! We are known for *pears* in the Rogue Valley. You can even get my pear butter recipe by going here!

Drawing will be Tuesday night, March 27th.

Good Luck! LET THE FUN BEGIN!!

Beautiful blooming flowers in my backyard, in honor of a dear friend, Cheryl. You can read about her here. My Faithgirlz group planted these bulbs last Fall.

I never win anything and this would bring such a smile to my face! What a great idea you have.

So if I leave more than one comment, do I have a higher chance of winning the prize :) ?!?

I can't wait for the sun to come out here!

Hello! I have to admit to lurking here at your site. Your blog title got me the first time I visited...I am a reluctant entertainer and I'm really not sure why. I believe you are correct it is some kind of fear but I'm still trying to figure out what I'm afraid of. I'm hoping some of your graciousness will rub of on me. I LOVED your sprinkler post below...too funny!

I can't imagine the warmth. Abby looks like she is have a "ball". Sprinklers? We have had natural sprinklers non stop for the last week. Rain.
Without the rain we wouldn't be benifitting from the beauty of the gardens that will soon be planted.

I just love the fun that can be had on blog land. Your contest sounds delightful.
My email address is on my profile. I'll be back to see who won the fun pack.

Beautiful flowers. What fun for the kids.

BTW - thank you for your kind comments. I'll be posting a different part of the story daily (I hope). The conference is in Seattle. The cool part is you can sign up for a 3 min group session with a publisher to pitch your book. I'm a bit nervous about it.

Whoa! A package? I love anything that comes through the mail the old fashioned way. I just wouldn't know if I should have you send it to Washington or California since I live in both places :)

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
P.S. I love to entertain in small and big ways, too.

First off, those flowers are gorgeous! I am starting to see little buds on the trees and green shoots poking up through the ground. Hopefully soon (after I finish April's PTA newsletter)I will be starting my seeds indoors.

The package is a wonderful idea, and one I think should be paid forward with each new winner. I keep hoping I will win . . . just so I can send out a package myself!

Hi Sandy! I wrote you a card yesterday (Monday) and wanted to deliver it in person, but had to leave quickly after working in my new yard at Pepperwood. I'll mail it. After reading your blog, I'm so excited about being your neighbor and friend. I have a pear pie recipe to share if you don't already have one! You are a blessing to many! Linda :-)
