Pantry-Talk APRON Giveaway!

Let's have some fun - 4RE friends!

Back by popular demand is another Hip Hostess Apron Giveaway!

This last March I had almost 300 friends vying for one of these gorgeous aprons.

This particular giveaway we're going to talk about our pantries! When our pantries are full, we feel secure.  We know what we'll be eating the next day!

But back to The Hip Hostess.  This mother-daughter team sells gorgeous aprons that are so well-made, and perfect for gift-giving. My newest apron (don't you love the avocado green?) came packaged so beautifully, I had to take pictures for you to see how it arrived in the mail.

Tasteful presentation

Classy

Comfy & fitting

I love wearing it, even in the garden (picking sweet basil!)

PANTRY TALK
Answer one of these questions for a simple chance to win!

Is your pantry a cupboard or do you have a walk-in pantry?

Describe how you feel when your PANTRY is stocked.

Do you feel differently when your pantry is low?

Or, is your pantry organized?

I'd say I feel ELATED. I LOVE a full pantry - I love having it stocked where my kids can find food to feed their friends, or where I can see what I have to whip up a quick meal.

But my pantry doesn't seem to stay organized.  So in my new kitchen, I'm going to work on this!

EASY TO WIN
Your comment puts you in the drawing, and if you tweet about it, or you post about it (I DO give you permission to use my top photo), your name goes in TWICE.  Let me know either way.

WINNER ANNOUNCED
I'll be announcing the winner this Friday!

Best of luck to all of you! If you have a minute, check out The Hip Hostess blog!  Or head on over and check out the beautiful assortment and styles.

(Very top photo: Me and Haggis.  I love our doggie.  Haggis is such a part of our family! And he loves to chase our kids around in our backyard.)

I only have cupboards right now, but I hope to have a large walk-in pantry some day.

I will definitely buy one if I don't win - too cute and I could wear it to Silver Bella! My pantry is organized and I like all the labels facing forward... a.r. I know...

Yes, I love to have my pantry stocked. I have an alcove pantry w/shelves from floor to ceiling. The top shelves are too high and I store my cookbooks there. This post has got me thinking about reorganizing it all b/c there is too much just stuffed in there. When this happens then I can't find anything, which defeats the purpose of being prepared b/c we all know that if things are too much of a hassel to get to ... then we usually don't try and then things are left unused ... and expiration dates come and go.

I love this pretty apron & I think that wearing it may have some magical powers that just might inspire me to wear it often and thus cook more often ... and entertain more often. Just kidding b/c I know it's not the apron, but the heart of the apron-wearer! *smile*

Describe how you feel when your PANTRY is stocked...

Our house feels like a home. When the pantry is full, that means fellowship and joy are to be had. For example - today I am running to the store to stock up because my hubby is coming home!! He has been gone for two weeks. We have been having to get used to being apart in this last year. BUT oh what a JOY (and I am realizing what a joy it is to be a wife who loves to cook for her hubby!) it is when I get to pick up all our favorites in preparation for meals together...Nothing gets better than that.

I have a closet pantry, but it's not walk-in. I feel so good when it's stocked---I feel secure, like if we had a blizzard or flood we could eat okay for weeks. :) I start to get a little down when it's low. Then I start to dread the cost of re-filling all the staples... :)

Thanks for the chance to win!

I do love it when my pantry is filled - does not necessarily have to be full (as it is only two of us now) but I like it filled with choices...and good ideas. But I am happiest of life when it is organized. Can goods arranged by variety and height....breakfast foods and extras together on one shelf...and a special basket brimming with snacks - well, you get the idea. (It is not alphabetized!!:) )

Luckily, Hubbie knows how much this thrills me so he just leaves it alone and life is all good!!

Totally in love with these aprons!

As for my pantry, when it is full, I feel secure. It means another week that my family has been provided for and that makes me very happy inside!

My pantry is currently a cabinet, but I've had a walk-in and it was so great! I could see everything easier so that was added incentive to keep it neat. Either one is a blessing!

Alicia and I are just getting into this apron thing. Its alot of fun. My pantry...well I love having a large pantry, but I have dreams of designing one that has pull out shelves etc so I can see what is stashed in the back easier. Every so often I dig thru and its kinda like Christmas....lots of surprises in the back.

My pantry is a converted coat closet. It's hard to keep it organized because of how it's set up, but I'm just grateful to have it. I like being prepared for unexpected situations (guests, a meal for someone who's in need, etc).

trapezoidal pantry, narrow when you reach in and wide at the back. Very frustrating. So I put a second pantry area in my laundry room for cans and jars. :-)

I have a system of labeled areas in my closet pantry; however I'm the only one who goes by the labels! Though the need to re-organize it, to see what in the WORLD is in there/what I need can be rattling, I try to focus on the bounty of having so much it has to be organized and the gift of a cheerful bargain-shopping hubby who loves cramming unusual items in there. It feels great to see all God has provided! A pretty apron to wear during the organizing would send me over the moon! THANKS! Kel- lmessimer@aol.com

I live in a small appartment and don't have a pantry! But my roommate and I love to cook and end up spreading everything all over our tiny kitchen and dining room. I think a new apron would definitley somehow help the situation! :-)

I have a cool pull out pantry and I love it and love those aprons!

My pantry is semi-organized. We use small cardboard boxes to store things like packages of rice, soups, etc. A box holds my Mom's Ensure, another box is for chip clips.

I have no pantry so I am really hurtin'!

My pantry is a shelved closet with bi-fold doors in the kitchen. I keep mostly my baking needs in there. Most canned items go onto shelves in the garage just off the kitchen. When all the shelves are stocked and the freezer is full, we can make it through quite a long time, except for milk! My pantry gets organized a couple times a year, but it never seems to stay that way for very long!
Thanks for the opportunity to win one of these lovely aprons!
Blessings!

I have a deep closet sized pantry. I have to keep it organized or else I'd never find anything! Love the aprons!
